House of Giegie explores the junction where the owner’s background in luxury jewelry design meets a maximalist approach to Italian luxury design.
This renovated restaurant is all about boldness, extravagance and unapologetic glamour. Inspired by the greats of Italian design from architecture to fashion, House of Giegie is full of custom, bold, jewel-studded artworks and luxurious design elements designed by Lupine and fabricated with local artisans.
The entry features a two meter sign made of recycled pieces of jewelry, including raw amethysts, fresh water pearls, and vintage brass jewelry. Separate dining halls showcase 5 meter high murals recalling old world chinoiserie panels, highlighted by 13 chandeliers, dripping in crystals, while the bar features custom golden leopards inspired by Bulgari’s iconic style.
The bar lounge displays a vibrant mix of animal prints and textures with accents of polished gold, evoking bold Italian glamour. Kitchen panels showcase pressed flowers reminiscent of the famed wildflowers in the mountains of central Italy.
